Yuanyuan Feng is a postdoctoral fellow at Carnegie Mellon University’s Institute of Software Research. She earned a Ph.D. in information studies from the College of Computing & Informatics at Drexel University. Broadly, Feng’s research examines how emerging information and computing technologies impact individuals and organizations. Building on the research results, she designs and develops systems that leverage these emerging technologies to support personal wellbeing (e.g., proactive health information management) and social good (e.g., data privacy transparency). Her research has covered a diversity of areas, including human-computer interaction, ubiquitous computing, usable privacy, health informatics, information behavior, library science, and digital curation.
