Abstract
Data comes at us
with variable velocities, be it sloth-like or seemingly at the speed of
sound. Volumes can sometime overwhelm both networks and users, and
disappear in total as originators go dark. And the variety of data
which every entity must engage runs the gamut from the highly structured
data sets where every piece of information has its marker to
unstructured data such as network telemetry or user generated content.
Is it bona fide or mala fide? Within this array of variables comprising a
haystack of extraordinary proportions lays the needles of anomalous and
perhaps nefarious activity. The Pareto optimality principle, is
brought to life via Cooperative Distributed Inferencing (CDI) which
synchronizes the heterogeneous rules which control your data
environment. There will always be conflict of rules and policies in
handling and processing of data. Through resolution of rule conflicts,
in real time, data and networks moving the data are optimized for
security, resiliency, and capacity. Anomalies are isolated, the needles
are found and data is secure. speaker Bio:
